I guess, I was in none of my previous job changes so intensely bombarded with questions about where I’m going to next. So, now I finally reveal the secret, if it is not obvious from the URL of this post: starting in November, I’m going to

codecentric.

Well, now, where the emotions are likely to subside slowly, I say what I’ll be doing here. Here is a preliminary list:
- join a highly competent team of very interesting people from whom I can learn. Whether they can also learn something from me will be seen
- have fun at work
- help use and expand in concrete projets the core competences of codecentric – agile software development and technical implementation / consulting
- help advance technological innovations and the expertise around them in the company and continuously increase the average size of “the box”
- help build the brand new location in Munich. Now that the initial team consists of people who I personally know and value, it will be even more fun
- continue to “play” with stuff outside the mainstream, write and speak about it
For sure, there will be more topics and tasks, as the company is set very lean and agile. Like this: I came, I saw a task, I took it over. If Caesar would have done so, he probably wouldn’t have ended up so bad. But apparently he didn’t bother to do so …
Anyway, I’m looking forward to the people, challenging and exciting tasks. About the rest I’ll report frequently.
